    Release Notes - SynApp2 0.1.1 alpha

    ////

    If you're updating from version 0.1.0:

    1. Make sure you have a copy of your customized version of _shared_/access.php
    2. Replace all of the SynApp2 files with ones from the new .tar.gz or .zip distribution
    3. Restore your customized version _shared_/access.php

    No changes have been made to access.php since the previous release, so your customized version of access.php can be still be used, just take care to not clobber it while you're updating the rest of the files on your server.

    If you're performing a fresh install, you can disregard the notes above. After you install all of the SynApp2 files, proceed to customize usernames and passwords as described in synapp2.txt and access.php.

    ////

    New things for version 0.1.1 include:

    1. All of the files named index.htm have been renamed to index.html. (many servers are not configured, by default, to recognize the former name as an index page)
    2. Reports now have a filter [on the way to being a full report criteria] form (terms are combined as 'COL1 LIKE %TERM1% OR COL2 LIKE %TERM2% OR COL3 LIKE %TERM3% ...')
    3. PageGen allows specification of basis page, report and navigation tabs template filenames and with individual check box controls to enable code generation/output
    4. Specific basis pages, reports and nav tabs can be added or ommited [via custom.inc.php]
    5. SynApp2 remembers the AppID (database) during a browser session
    6. Page breadcrumb links support switching between SynApp2 pages and application pages during development
    7. Better activity feedback for PageGen

    ////

    Bugs fixed with version 0.1.1:

    1. manage enable/disable state of table navigation controls when select [tform] forms are closed
    2. disallow selection of empty select [tform] form rows
